The Government of Canada is in the Renovation Credit business again and this is good news for you. As of Jan 27/09 when any canadian upgrades there home to be more energy efficient through renovation you can be eligible to recieve up to $1350 in tax relief.
By making your home more energy efficient you will be adding value and setting it apart from the crowd homes. A more efficient home will save money for you and be a great selling/buying point. This will make a sale easier when you wish to sell now is the time to invest in your home!

Painting what every kid likes to do, well every wall/room should be painted every 3-5 or so years. This keeps your house modern looking with upto date colours and all around cleaner as you never know when visitors from abroad may come calling its better to be prepared than rushed.
Painting is now easier than ever before as new Environmental Safe Paints are made with natural materials that leave almost smell (gone is that chemical smell that lasted for days).
Being a responsible homeowner when it comes to paint can be hard. Unlike organic greens, there really is not an Organic Green Seal paint certification. This makes it a challenge as the Regulatory agencies do not require paint companies to fully disclose all the ingredients of there paint….
My recomendations, use as natural products as possible thereby lessoning the chemicals in your home and in the environment. Check out this site for more environmentally safe alternative paints e links for some additional information
If you have tried alternative paints tell us about your experiences….
